The Heart of Darkness is a very interesting book. At first I thought the book was going to be boring because of the description of it. Even after reading the first two pages I didn't like the book at all. I thought it was boring and to slow in pace. However, after reading later on I started enjoying it. The story of Marlow is really interesting to read. The different things that you can depict out of the book is also great. Now I know why this book is considered one of the best pieces of literature.
You can depict a lot of things out of the book such as psychology, feminism, post colonialism, and many other things, which is a good thing when planning on writing an essay. The only thing that still confounds me is that the description of things are dragged out for way to long such as when the Russian was describing Mr.Kurtz.
Overall I think the book is good so far and I think it will get even better.
